Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SuperLarva ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the ASVAB Prep mobile app (the "App"). We built the App to be privacy-respecting by design: it has no user accounts, and your study data stays on your device.
Plain-English summary: We don't ask you to create an account. Your practice history, mistakes, and bookmarks are stored only on your device. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the App is used, and Apple processes any purchases. We don't sell your data.
1. Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
- We do not ask for your name, phone number, or address.
- We do not collect or store your payment card details — all purchases are handled by Apple.
2. Information stored on your device
Your study data — including test and practice sessions, questions you answered incorrectly, bookmarked ("saved") questions, and progress — is stored locally on your device. We cannot access it, and it is not uploaded to our servers. Deleting the App removes this data.
3. App content
Question and lesson content is delivered to the App from our content service on a read-only basis. Retrieving content does not require you to provide any personal information.
4. Analytics
We use a third-party analytics provider (Amplitude) to understand how the App is used — for example, which screens are viewed and which features are used — so we can improve it. This may include device and usage information such as device model, operating system version, app version, and in-app events, associated with a randomly generated identifier rather than your name. We use this only in aggregate to improve the App. If analytics is not configured, no analytics data is sent.
5. AI tutor
If you use the optional Ask AI tutor feature, the text of the question you are viewing and the messages you send are transmitted to a third-party AI provider to generate a response. Do not include personal or sensitive information in your messages. These messages are used to produce the tutor's reply and are not linked to an account, since the App has none.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are sold and processed through Apple's App Store and administered with the help of RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. We receive your subscription status (for example, whether Premium is active) so the App can unlock premium features, but we do not receive your payment card information. Apple's and RevenueCat's handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
7. How we use information
- To provide and maintain the App's features.
- To understand usage in aggregate and improve the App.
- To provide the AI tutor response when you use that feature.
- To operate subscriptions and unlock premium features.
8. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers described above (analytics, AI tutor, and subscription/payment processing) strictly to operate the App, and where required by law.
9. Data retention and deletion
Because your study data is stored on your device, you are in control of it. To delete it, delete the App. Aggregate analytics data is retained by our analytics provider according to their retention policies. To ask a question about your data, email us at contact@superlarva.com.
10. Children's privacy
The App is intended for users preparing for military enlistment and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Because we hold very little information about you and store study data on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly by managing or deleting the App. For other requests, contact us at contact@superlarva.com.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected in the App or on this page.
